The Minnesota Timberwolves will be short three starters when they take on the Charlotte Hornets.
Swingman Andrew Wiggins will miss Tuesday's contest due to a sore right knee, the team announced.
Wiggins' injury likely isn't serious. He took a hard spill against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, but still managed to play over 37 minutes while scoring 33 points on 15-of-22 shooting.
Ricky Rubio will also sit out due to a sore left knee. Rubio was originally slated to play, but he was scratched prior to tip-off. Instead, backup guard Zach LaVine will draw the start at point guard.
Veteran Kevin Garnett will also sit out due to rest as the team is on the second night of a back-to-back.
The Timberwolves are off to a surprising 4-2 start following a 16-win showing last season.
