The Portland Trail Blazers lost big man Meyers Leonard to a dislocated shoulder in the third quarter of Wednesday night's game against the San Antonio Spurs.
He suffered the injury after getting tangled up with Spurs forwards David West and Kawhi Leonard while jockeying for rebounding position.
There's no word yet on the severity of the injury, but a dislocated shoulder often causes a torn labrum - as was the case for Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Kevin Love, to cite two recent examples - which means Leonard could require surgery. He returned to the Blazers' bench in the fourth quarter with an ice pack on his shoulder.

Coming into the game, Leonard - who opted not to sign an extension with Portland so as to enter restricted free agency next summer - was averaging 8.6 points and 4.4 rebounds in 26.6 minutes per game.
