Clippers' Paul out with groin injury vs. Suns
Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports
The Phoenix Suns caught a huge break for their game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday.
The Clippers were without their starting backcourt Thursday as J.J. Redick and Chris Paul both missed the game.
Paul has a groin injury which has been bothering him since the Clippers' hard-fought loss to the Golden State Warriors last week. Paul missed the team's game against the Houston Rockets, and has shot a combined 6-of-21 in two games since his return to the lineup.
Redick is dealing with back spasms.
