A horrific outburst of violence on Friday resulted in the deadliest attack in the city of Paris since World War II.
The death toll continues to rise, with Agence-France Presse reporting that at least 129 people were killed. French president Francois Hollande declared a state of emergency and shut down the nation's borders.
A handful of NBA players, including several members of the French national team, sent their best wishes to those affected by the tragedy.
