Charlotte Hornets forward Marvin Williams was issued a flagrant-2 foul at the 7:45 mark of the fourth quarter after delivering an elbow to the head of New York Knicks big man Lou Amundson on Tuesday night.
As a result, Williams was ejected from the game.
Amundson was taken to the locker room by the Knicks' medical staff, and did not return due to a lacerated scalp.
Williams' foul was the 11th flagrant called on the season. The former No. 2 overall pick finished the evening with two points on 1-of-4 shooting in 29 minutes of action.
New York went on to win the game, 102-94.
