VIDEO: Deron Williams with rare, but impressive dunk
Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports
It's not everyday you see Deron Williams throw one down. In fact, it's been well over a year since the three-time All-Star dunked in an NBA game.
Sunday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the 31-year-old cut through the lane to throw down a one-handed jam, surprising everyone at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
Jams are fairly rare from point guards not named Russell Westbrook, who seemingly has one or two every time he suits up for Oklahoma City.
Williams had surgery on both his ankles when he played for the Brooklyn Nets, which should've been enough to keep the former All-Star from getting enough air under him to ever throw one down again.
So much for that.
