Mavs resting Devin Harris vs. Grizzlies
Jerome Miron / USA TODAY Sports
The Dallas Mavericks are giving one of their many aging vets a night off, but it's not the one you might expect.
The Mavs are resting backup point guard Devin Harris for Tuesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Every other Dallas regular will be active.
Harris, 32, has come off the bench in all 14 games this season. He's averaging 7.3 points, 2.4 assists, and 1.4 steals in 22.4 minutes per game, slumping to a .379/.167/.615 shooting split.
J.J Barea stands to get some more burn in his absence.
