Spurs get LaMarcus Aldridge back against Mavericks
Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports
LaMarcus Aldridge will return from a two-game absence Wednesday when the San Antonio Spurs host the Dallas Mavericks.
Aldridge had been hampered by an ankle sprain, but the Spurs managed to win both games he missed by double-digits.
The power forward is shooting under 43 percent from the floor and his 15.3 points per game would constitute his lowest output since his rookie year in 2006-07. Yet he's still finding his way in a Spurs offense where Kawhi Leonard has emerged as the go-to guy.
... When I asked Boris Diaw who gets Dirk duty now that Tiago Splitter is in Atlanta, Diaw said, "Probably LaMarcus." FWIW.
