Lakers' Williams out vs. Trail Blazers due to family matter

Los Angeles Lakers combo guard Lou Williams didn't travel with the team for Saturday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Williams is tending to the death of his grandfather, reports Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News.
The 29-year-old is posting solid averages of 12.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game this season, but is struggling with his jump shot. He's shooting 34.8 percent from the floor and 23.6 percent overall, although he's managed to prop up his efficiency by shooting 5.8 free throws per game.
Byron Scott's team is loaded with guards, so he'll have the likes of D'Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, and Nick Young to lean on for extra minutes in the backcourt.
