Nets' Bargnani probable Thursday vs. 76ers
Despite going 3-2 in their last five games, the Brooklyn Nets haven't had much to celebrate this season.
Potentially bringing a mild dosage of relief to the Nets' front line, they may soon welcome back streaky-shooting 7-footer Andrea Bargnani, as ESPN's Mike Mazzeo reports "Il Mago" is listed as probable for Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The 30-year-old Italian has been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury - which has limited him in previous seasons and has knocked him out of the Nets' lineup on four occasions in 2015-16.
Sporting a solid career rate from 3-point territory of 35.5 percent, the 10-year veteran has seen his long-range accuracy dwindle to 22.2 percent through 17 games this season.
Never averaging less than 10 points a season, Bargnani is contributing 5.9 points along with a head-scratching 1.7 rebounds and 0.2 blocks as a "stretch center."
