VIDEO: Gerald Green's brother dunks on own net in German League
Gerald Green, who currently plies his trade for the Miami Heat, has long been one of the NBA's preeminent high-flyers; a one-man highlight factory who's wowed the basketball populous over the years with monstrous alley-oop windmills, between-the-legs dunks in his socks, and rim-rattlers preceded by his blowing out candles in a cupcake perched on the rim.
His younger brother, Garlon Green, who plays for Tigers Tubingen of the German League, appears to share both Gerald's athleticism and theatrical flair. He also appears to suffer from a case of overeagerness.
Seeing an opportunity to deliver a highlight-reel putback, Garlon soared in from out of nowhere to deposit a missed free throw through the hoop, heedless of the fact that said hoop was his own team's, and that the two points he'd put on the scoreboard were added to the opponent's tally.
His teammates were ... less than appreciative.
