Alan Anderson (ankle) hasn't been cleared to resume running or jumping.
Anderson (ankle) was able to put up some shots Monday, but hasn't been cleared to resume running or jumping, Jorge Castillo of The Washington Post reports.
Analysis:
It had been suggested a couple weeks ago that Anderson was getting closer to a return, but his limited activity Monday suggests the small forward likely won't be healthy in time to make his season debut until at least January. The Wizards haven't unveiled an official timetable for Anderson since he underwent a procedure to remove a bone fragment in his left ankle in October, and that will likely remain the case until he starts practicing with the team again.
