It's easy to see why the Minnesota Timberwolves selected Karl-Anthony Towns first overall in the 2015 NBA Draft. The 20-year-old Kentucky product is playing himself right into the top spot as the league's early Rookie of the Year favorite.
Towns got fancy in the paint on Monday night against the Denver Nuggets, dropping a sweet no-look pass to veteran teammate Kevin Garnett under the basket:
He then followed up his highlight-reel dime by throwing down a missed Kevin Martin 3-pointer with a monster put-back slam:
Yep. He's good.
