VIDEO: Wolves' Muhammad hits Knicks' Vujacic with vicious elbow
Sasha Vujacic is a notorious agitator - even Carmelo Anthony admitted to hating him before they became New York Knicks teammates this year - and the latest opponent to have been pushed too far by "The Machine" is Minnesota Timberwolves forward Shabazz Muhammad.
After jostling with him for a loose ball under the hoop Wednesday night, Muhammad threw a malicious elbow at Vujacic's neck and jaw.
After review, Muhammad was assessed a flagrant-1 foul, which seems light given the apparent intent.
The league office will have the option to retroactively upgrade it to a flagrant 2, and hit Muhammad with an additional fine or suspension, should they see fit.
Utah Jazz guard Rodney Hood was ejected from a game just last week for decking Vujacic with a body check.
