Derrick Rose ruled out vs. Knicks with hamstring issue

The Chicago Bulls will be without point guard Derrick Rose for a second consecutive game Friday night when the team plays host to the visiting New York Knicks.
Rose - who sat out Chicago's two-point overtime win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday - has been ruled out with right hamstring tendinitis, according to multiple sources.
Injuries to Mike Dunleavy and Cristiano Felicio have Rose listed as active, although he will not play, according to the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson.
Chicago got a big night out of backup Aaron Brooks on Wednesday, with the 30-year-old veteran leading all scorers with 29 points on 11-of-20 shooting, along with five makes from deep in 40 minutes of action.
With Rose sitting, Kirk Hinrich will once again get the call as the starting point guard, with Brooks seeing big minutes for the second unit once again.
Rose is averaging 14.4 points, 5.1 assists, and 3.3 rebounds in his seventh season with the 18-12 Bulls, who currently hold down the fourth seed in the ultra competitive Eastern Conference.
