Jerryd Bayless returns for Bucks
Benny Sieu / USA TODAY Sports
Milwaukee Bucks reserve point guard Jerryd Bayless made his return from a sprained ankle Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks.
Bayless, who was initially ruled out until the new year, has missed the last 11 games for the Bucks since spraining his left ankle in a Dec. 4 loss to the Detroit Pistons.
Bayless is shooting 43.6 percent from deep and averaging 11.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.3 steals in 31.4 minutes played - all career highs - this season with Milwaukee. The 6-foot-3 combo guard is also averaging 3.7 assists a game, with occasional starts in the place of Michael Carter-Williams.
