Phoenix Suns guard Ronnie Price underwent surgery to remove loose bodies from his right toe Friday, the team announced.
"Price is anticipated to return to basketball activities around the All-Star break," the team said in a statement, lining up with a report Thursday by Paul Coro of The Arizona Republic that projected Price would miss three weeks.
The reserve guard had seen his minutes jump since starting guard Eric Bledsoe went down with a knee injury in December. Price averaged 8.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.7 steals in 22.4 minutes played in his last six games, shooting 44.4 percent from beyond the arc.
The 13-27 Suns currently sit 12th in the Western Conference.
