Mike Conley returns to lineup vs. Pelicans
Memphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley will return to action for Monday afternoon's contest versus the New Orleans Pelicans, according to ESPN's Justin Verrier.
Conley missed the last six games for Memphis with a sore Achilles, as the Grizzlies went 3-3 in his absence. The Indiana native hasn't played a full 82 games since the 2008-09 season.
The 28-year-old is putting up solid numbers, averaging 15.1 points, 5.8 assists, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.3 steals this season. However, Conley has seen a dip in his efficiency, posting the lowest field-goal percentage (.404) of his career.
Memphis (23-19) is currently tied for fifth in the Western Conference with the Dallas Mavericks. The Grizzlies are looking to extend their two-game winning streak Monday at FedExForum.
