Durant, Wade named Players of the Week

Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Kevin Durant and Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade have been named NBA Players of the Week for their respective conferences.
Durant led the Thunder to a 3-0 week, posting averages of 34.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. This is already Durant's fourth Player of the Week honor of 2015-16.
Wade carried Miami to a perfect 4-0 week, averaging 24 points, seven assists, 4.8 rebounds, two steals, and 1.8 blocks. The Heat now sit fourth in the Eastern Conference at 27-21.
Other nominees for the award included Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Monta Ellis, Jeff Green, Klay Thompson, Ryan Anderson, Jrue Holiday, DeMar DeRozan, and Kyle Lowry.
