Report: Clippers would move Griffin to land Durant in offseason

The Los Angeles Clippers have received calls about Blake Griffin's availability, but they're reportedly determined to play out the year with their currently-injured star. However, the team "won’t hesitate" to move Griffin if it means landing Kevin Durant this summer, sources told Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
Durant's upcoming unrestricted free agency could make the 2010 LeBron James sweepstakes minuscule by comparison, with potentially a dozen teams pitching him.

Griffin, meanwhile, has taken another hit in the reliability department after breaking his shooting hand in an off-court dust-up with his close friend, a Clippers equipment manager. He isn't expected to play for at least four weeks.
It's not surprising that other teams would try to gauge the Clippers' interest in moving Griffin now, with his value taking a hit. He won't realistically play again until late in the regular season, and the Clippers, much like Durant's Oklahoma City Thunder, face increased pressure for a successful playoff run.
In theory, Durant could have his pick of several teams in free agency. The Clippers would certainly have to move some salary in order to accommodate a max deal, and while the Thunder would likely only consider a sign-and-trade as a last resort, Griffin is a native of the Oklahoma City area.
