Warriors' new arena to be named Chase Center
Oracle Arena will soon be replaced by the Chase Center.
The Golden State Warriors will move to an 18,000-seat venue in 2019, and although ground has yet to be broken on the project, a deal has already been struck for the arena to be named after the multinational banking company.

The San Francisco Chronicle estimates that JPMorgan Chase paid more than $200 million for naming rights, although exact figures weren't disclosed by the team.
Construction on the project has been delayed due to a pending lawsuit from the Mission Bay Alliance, which argues that the new arena will have a negative impact on the nearby UCSF Medical Center. The venue was originally slated to open in 2018, but that date has been pushed back a year.
Warriors owner Rick Welts, however, sees the deal with JPMorgan Chase as a sign of the arena's "inevitability."
“We are just one lawsuit away from being able to put a shovel in the ground,” Welts said.
