The dreaded gastroenteritis has stricken yet another member of the Sacramento Kings, with head coach George Karl the latest to succumb to the stomach virus.
Karl was not on the sidelines Thursday night when the Kings visit the New Orleans Pelicans, the team announced.
Associate head coach Chad Iske took over in his stead.
Center Kosta Koufos and forward Rudy Gay have also missed games this season with gastroenteritis.
The Kings have dropped their last two games against the Charlotte Hornets and Portland Trail Blazers after winning five in a row.
