Randy Wittman coaches Wizards to victory following brother's death
The season-long struggles of the Washington Wizards paled in comparison to the regrettable news head coach Randy Wittman received on Saturday.
Rick Wittman, Randy's older brother, died unexpectedly early Saturday morning, according to The Washington Post's Jorge Castillo.

After the 56-year-old bench boss learned of his brother's death, Wittman decided to remain with his team and lead them in Saturday's game against the Houston Rockets.
Under his guidance, the Wizards eked out a 123-122 victory, and improved to 21-24 on the season.

After the game, a visibly emotional Wittman addressed the media.
Should Wittman miss Monday's game versus the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday, assistant coaches Don Zierden or Don Newman could take the reins in his absence.
