Bulls' Dunleavy to make season debut vs. Timberwolves
Chicago Bulls sharpshooter Mike Dunleavy is finally set to make his season debut after missing the first three months of the campaign recovering from back surgery.
Dunleavy announced he'll suit up against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night.
The procedure was only supposed to keep Dunleavy out eight-to-10 weeks, but a series of setbacks forced him to miss nearly two-thirds of the Bulls' season.
Dunleavy has been a fixture in the Bulls' starting lineup since joining the team in 2013. He's averaged 10.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game while shooting 39.2 percent from deep over the last two seasons.
His return should give the Bulls some much-needed depth on the wing. Both Tony Snell and Doug McDermott have been inconsistent this season, and Jimmy Butler won't suit up Saturday on account of a sprained knee.
