Golden State Warriors center Festus Ezeli will be re-evaluated in six weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Monday, the team announced.
Ezeli is expected to return this season.
Ezeli, who missed the 2013-14 season due to surgery on his right knee, has missed 10 games this season, including the last five.
The 26-year-old, who's set for restricted free agency in the summer, has enjoyed a career year, averaging 7.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in nearly 18 minutes.
Veteran big man Marreese Speights figures to absorb some of Ezeli's minutes off the bench, although Speights is nowhere near the defensive presence that Ezeli is.
