Was it the greatest Slam Dunk contest of all time? Most players seem to think so.
The 2016 edition of the hallowed All-Star Saturday competition dropped more jaws than any in recent memory. It saw Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon go back and forth in a preposterous game of one-upmanship. They generated six straight perfect-50 dunks between them before a double-pump tomahawk from Gordon underwhelmed the judges, and LaVine clinched his second straight title with a through-the-legs slam from just inside the free-throw line.
Here are the full highlights of the competition, from Will Barton's brilliant "Thriller"-themed walkout to Gordon's sitting-in-midair all-timer to LaVine's literal showstopper.
Dikembe Mutombo's face says it all.
