After weeks of rumors, the Los Angeles Clippers are expected to stand pat through Thursday's deadline, a source told Yahoo's Marc J. Spears.

Instead, the Clippers are reportedly likely to sign a D-League big man to a 10-day deal while they wait for All-Star power forward Blake Griffin to return from injury.

The Clippers were reportedly nearing a deal on Tuesday that would've landed them Channing Frye from the Orlando Magic, but that trade never came to fruition.

At 35-18, the Clippers currently sit fourth in the Western Conference, 13.5 games back of the league-leading Golden State Warriors.
