The final game between Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant may have been a meaningful matchup among NBA fans, but the Spurs big man treated the contest like any other.

"I'm here to play a game and win a game. I'm not worried about that stuff," Duncan said to Lindsey Thiry of the Los Angeles Times. "He's a great competitor over the years, but this wasn't about him. It was about us trying to get back on track."

Friday saw vintage performances from the two greats, with Bryant collecting 25 points and Duncan posting a double-double (12 points and 13 rebounds) in a winning effort.

After seeing the Lakers win five championships during his 18-year career, Duncan is one of the few current players who isn't disappointed to see the "Black Mamba" pack it in, claiming he felt "no emotions" during the 119-113 Spurs victory.

"No," Duncan said when asked if he was sad that Friday marked the final matchup between the two. "We played for many years. It’s been great. We're moving on."
