Nowitzki becomes 6th player in NBA history to score 29,000 career points
Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports
Dirk Nowitzki hit another career milestone Sunday night, going over 29,000 career points on a very Dirk-like 3-pointer against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Nice pass from Zaza Pachulia, by the way.
Nowitzki remains more than 2,000 points behind Wilt Chamberlain for fifth on the list. He and Kobe Bryant - third all time - are the only active players in the top five.
Nowitzki finished with 18 points as the Mavs beat the Sixers 129-103.
