Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon has had a bit of extra bounce in his step since lighting up All-Star weekend with his all-timer of a dunk contest performance, and even though this second-quarter windmill Thursday against the Warriors came just after the whistle, it still got fans up and out of their seats.
That proved to be just a warmup anyway. The next one was arguably more impressive, and very much counted:
The Magic uncluttered their frontcourt ahead of the trade deadline - dealing Tobias Harris and Channing Frye - in part to find more minutes for Gordon. On top of dunking everything in sight, the 20-year-old has come into his own of late, averaging 10 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists over the last 15 games.
