Did Orlando Magic point guard Elfrid Payton douse himself in heavy cologne prior to Friday's matchup with the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden?
It would certainly help explain why Jose Calderon and Kyle O'Quinn willingly stepped out of the way to let him get an easy, uncontested slam dunk near the end of the first quarter. Perhaps the scent was too powerful to bear.
Then again, maybe New York's defense is just that dreadful, which seems far more likely.
