Report: Spurs will waive McCallum pending Miller's physical

The San Antonio Spurs will waive point guard Ray McCallum pending a physical on reported signing Andre Miller, sources told The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Miller is set to join the Spurs after clearing waivers Saturday. The 17-year veteran, who turns 40 next month, is currently the NBA's oldest player.
It's unfortunate news for the 24-year-old McCallum, who was acquired by the Spurs last summer amid a modicum of fanfare. A player who was thought to be ready to make a jump after a promising season with the Sacramento Kings, McCallum has been unable to crack meaningful minutes in Gregg Popovich's rotation.
