The Phoenix Suns are considered a possible suitor to sign Toronto Raptors power forward Anthony Bennett upon clearing waivers, The Verticals' Shams Charania reports, citing league sources.
Bennett will reportedly be waived by the Raptors to make room to sign power forward Jason Thompson.
The first overall pick in the 2013 draft, Bennett has struggled to make an impact in the NBA since his rookie year with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 22-year-old has averaged 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds while shooting just 38.9 percent from the floor in 128 career games.
If signed, Phoenix would mark Bennett's fourth team in just three seasons.
