Warriors extend home winning streak in win over Thunder

The Golden State Warriors continued their dominance at Oracle Arena on Thursday night, tying a 20-year-old NBA record with their 44th straight home victory.

Entering the fourth quarter down one, the Warriors dominated the Thunder down the stretch, earning a 121-106 victory to sweep the season series against Oklahoma City.

Returning from an ankle injury that kept him out of Tuesday's matchup, Steph Curry put together another MVP-like performance, collecting 33 points, four rebounds, and four assists in 37 minutes.

Curry was uncharacteristically cold from beyond the arc entering the fourth, but heated up when it mattered most, hitting two daggers down the stretch that sealed the win for Golden State.

While the starters for both teams put together strong performances, it was Golden State's bench that was a difference maker, led by Marreese Speights (plus-11) and Shaun Livingston (plus-17).

Kevin Durant led the way for the Thunder with a near triple-double (32 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists), but his nine turnovers factored into the defeat.

Oklahoma City has now lost six of eight and is in serious danger of losing its No. 3 seed to the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Warriors (55-5) extended their winning streak to seven games and need to go 18-4 down the stretch to break the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' regular season record for wins (72).
