Stephon Marbury is back in the shoe business.
The Chinese Basketball Association star took to Twitter to give fans a sneak peek of the next generation of his light-up "Starbury" sneakers - kicks which retailed for $15 from 2006 to 2009, a stark contrast to the far-more-expensive shoes of today.
But do not let the cheaper price tag fool you. Marbury took to Twitter to explain that his sneakers use the same materials as the higher-priced Nikes:
I'm making everything #Nike Makes with the same material from China and selling it way less! https://t.co/pEptRX01Pr

The material is getting cut for the shoes. Different flavors coming very soon! #TheStarburyMovement pic.twitter.com/oKVJRZGsld

This is just a tease and the beginning. In time I'm gonna flood the world with affordable kicks. https://t.co/xA54TjmAyg
