Derrick Rose will not play Monday against the Toronto Raptors, the Chicago Bulls point guard's second straight game on the sideline with a groin injury.
Rose had been listed as doubtful Sunday and as a game-time decision early Monday, but the fact that he traveled with the team on its two-game road swing indicates he may be able to go Wednesday in Washington against the Wizards.
Rose returned from a brief absence due to hamstring tendinitis last Tuesday, and has shot 51.5 percent from the floor in the last five games he has played in. The Bulls are currently ravaged by injuries, now without Pau Gasol due to a knee issue.
Mike Dunleavy will also sit out Monday with an illness. The good news for them is Jimmy Butler will return in Toronto.
