Spurs' Green becomes 7th player with 700 3-pointers, 300 blocks for 1 team
Danny Green joined some pretty elite company on Thursday night at AT&T Center, when the San Antonio Spurs hosted the Portland Trail Blazers.
By blocking center Mason Plumlee, Green registered his 300th rejection as a member of the Spurs. With his 709 3-pointers while wearing the black and white, the 28-year-old shooting guard became the first player in franchise history to convert more than 700 shots from behind the arc and block at least 300 shots.
He's also just the seventh player in league history to reach that milestone with one organization.
