With four players currently on 10-day contracts, the Memphis Grizzlies are in desperate need of talent as they wait for a number of players to return from injury.

Memphis is interested in signing free-agent point guard Jordan Farmar, Ronald Tillery of The Commercial Appeal reports.

Farmar last played in the NBA in 2014-15, averaging 4.6 points and 1.9 assists in 36 games for the Los Angeles Clippers.

The 29-year-old played with Maccabi Tel Aviv this season, but parted ways with the club on Jan. 10.

Farmar has averaged 7.7 points, 2.9 assists, and 42.3 percent shooting in 490 career games.
