Weeks after firing Dan Fegan, Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard plans on hiring Perry Rogers to be his new agent, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.

The big takeaway from this hire, though, is that Rogers also represents former 15-time NBA All-Star and current TNT analyst Shaquille O'Neal, who has publicly mocked Howard for using what he considered to be his "Superman" moniker.

It appears that any heat between the two is now water under the bridge, as Charania reports that O'Neal had talked extensively with Howard about having Rogers be his agent, as well as marketing of the "Superman" nickname.

This working relationship also reportedly presents an opportunity for the two to star together in advertisements.

Howard is currently in his 12th season in the league, averaging 14.7 points and 12 rebounds in 57 games for the Rockets.
