Curry takes scoring title, 1st to average more than 30 in under 35 minutes

Stephen Curry secured his first NBA scoring title Wednesday night with a 46-point performance in a record-setting 125-104 Golden State Warriors win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Curry finishes the season with an average of 30.1 points in 79 games, and becomes the first player in NBA history to average more than 30 points per contest while playing less than 35 minutes per game.

Curry also bested his own league record for 3-pointers in a season this year, finishing with 402 - a total of 116 more than his mark in 2014-15.
