Raptors' Patterson avoids 5-second violation with self-inbound off Green's back

The Toronto Raptors got a lot more than they bargained for Friday night from the zombified Memphis Grizzlies, who made the Raptors fight till the last possession.
Down two with 10 seconds remaining, the Grizzlies flawlessly defended a Raptors inbounds play, nearly forcing a five-second violation. The only problem: JaMychal Green had his back turned to inbounder Patrick Patterson, and Patterson took full advantage.

The play was reviewed, but the officials determined that Patterson established his feet inbounds before receiving the self-pass.
After getting the ball in play just under the wire, Patterson hit Jonas Valanciunas, who was promptly fouled and sunk the game-icing free throws.
