LaRon Smith is joining the Tigers.
The former Bethune-Cookman forward told ESPN's Jeff Goodman he plans to transfer to Auburn. It's another decent get for Bruce Pearl, who also secured transfer DeSean Murray on Sunday.
Smith averaged 7.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game last season while shooting better than 58 percent from the field for the Wildcats. He was also named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Year for 2015-16.
