4-star PG Nick Weatherspoon commits to Mississippi State

Four-star guard Nick Weatherspoon announced Sunday that he's pledged to play for Mississippi State, beginning in 2017.

The addition of Weatherspoon represents a major haul for the Bulldogs, as the 6-foot-2 point guard comes as the 34th-ranked player in his recruiting class by ESPN.
Weatherspoon held offers from Georgetown, Indiana, Louisville, and other programs before deciding to play for Mississippi State.
