SMU picks up ex-South Florida guard Jahmal McMurray

Former South Florida guard Jahmal McMurray will transfer to SMU, he told Jon Rothstein of FanRag Sports.
McMurray is currently enrolled at a junior college after off-court issues resulted in his departure from the Bulls. He'll be eligible to suit up for the Mustangs beginning in December 2017, and will have 1.5 years of eligibility on the table.
McMurray, a sophomore, averaged 15.2 points per game last season, and 20.3 points in three contests this year before leaving South Florida.
