Alabama guard Nick King won't return this season after contracting a lung infection in December, head coach Avery Johnson announced Friday.
King appeared in seven games this season before going down with the ailment and averaged 3.3 points per game. The junior could apply for a medical redshirt to get an extra year of eligibility.
Alabama also announced sophomore Brandon Austin is out for the year with a back issue.
