South Florida forward Luis Santos is planning to transfer and has requested his release from the team, according to Jon Rothstein of FanRag Sports.
The sophomore is a former four-star recruit who is averaging more than 17 minutes and six points per game this season.
Santos will have two years of eligibility remaining, but will have to sit out a season because of NCAA transfer rules.
