Vance Jackson transfers to New Mexico from UConn

Vance Jackson agreed to transfer from Connecticut to New Mexico, the freshman forward told ESPN's Jeff Goodman.
Jackson, who averaged 8.1 points and 3.8 rebounds for the Huskies last season, will have to sit out next season before he can play for the Lobos.
New Mexico last reached the NCAA tournament in 2014.
