Four-star power forward Cole Swider announced his commitment to Villanova on Friday.
The 6-foot-8 forward says he made his decision largely based on his relationship with Villanova bench boss Jay Wright.
"I feel like I can have a similar relationship with Coach Wright as what I have with my high school coach, Mike Hart," Swider told ESPN's Jeff Goodman. "When it came down to it, I loved the campus, the players and Coach Wright and the staff has a really good plan for me to come in and contribute right away."
Swider had narrowed his choices down to Duke, Syracuse, Xavier, and Villanova prior to Friday's decision.
