Shareef O'Neal is confident he'd beat LaMelo Ball should they ever face one another in a game.
"I know him off the court," O'Neal told TMZ Sports. "He's cool. Never played against him. But I can (take him)."
O'Neal, a 6-foot-9 power forward and the son of Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal, announced his commitment to Arizona in April as a member of the 2018 recruiting class. Ball, a 6-foot-3 point guard, is committed to UCLA for 2019.
Asked about his son's comments, Shaq agreed and said all young up-and-comers should display that kind of confidence.
