Nobody enjoys having insult added to injury, but Colorado did just that to Arizona State in the dying seconds of Wednesday's Pac-12 tournament opening-round matchup.
With less than 10 seconds to go and Colorado leading by nine, Arizona State appeared content to run out the clock, but Buffaloes guard Dominique Collier found teammate Tyler Bey for an alley-oop throwdown.
The Sun Devils took exception to the play, resulting in some pushing and shoving. It was later reported that Colorado head coach Tad Boyle was injured after running onto the court to break up the scuffle, and he was seen walking gingerly on the sidelines afterward.
